We've tried three other cups and this is the first one my toddler actually drinks from without me holding it. The weighted straw means she can tilt it any direction and still get water, which cut way down on the messy spills. Transitioning off bottles has been way less of a fight than I expected.

My 9-month-old figured out the straw in about two days, which surprised me since she'd only used bottles before. The weighted base actually stays put when she slams it down, so I'm not wiping up puddles at every meal.

The handles are perfectly sized for my son's tiny grip, and he actually managed to drink from it on the very first try without any spills. It's made our transition away from bottles way less stressful than I expected.
